Arthur Whitrod who died on May 25th 1993, taken from us suddenly and with no prior warning in his
sleep. A much loved husband to Sylvia, father to Julie, Karen, Michelle, Donna, Nicola and Keith,
Martin and Robert. A grandfather to too many to list. He was loved and liked by all that meet and
knew him. A truly wonderful man. He worked for London Underground for many years before retiring on
health grounds. He loved football and Darts as well as Cricket etc. His hobby was gardening which he
enjoyed to the full. He is missed by us all, it still seems like only yesterday that he was here
with us. Not a day goes by where he is not thought about. Until we meet again Dad love you loads.

Thinking of you today dad as yet another year goes by without you. 16 years has flown by and yet it still seems like only yesterday. We miss you so much and just wished that we could still have you here. Hope you are enjoying your rest, you deserve it,thinking of you as always.

We little knew that morning God was going to call your name
In life we loved you dearly
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you
you did not go alone
for part of us went with you,the day god called you home.

Dad gone but never forgotten
Dad,the years have gone by but you are still so very much in my thoughts living in your house is a lovely constant reminder.
Looking at your grren house and ths shed when you used to have 'The famous fag' brings not just tears but a big smile on my face.
Dad sometimes I wish you were still here to take care of us all and to see all the new additions to the 'Whitrod clang 'all lovely dad you must be able to look down and see them all.
